The selection of the installation site for the air compressor is the most easily neglected by the staff. After the air compressor is purchased, the place is arranged and the use is planned after the piping. In order to facilitate the future maintenance of the air compressor, an appropriate installation site is a prerequisite for the correct use of the air compressor system.
(1) Site: The air compressor installer should choose a clean, well-lit, wide place to facilitate the space and lighting required for operation, maintenance and repair.#

(2) Space: Choose a place with low air humidity, less dust, good ventilation and fresh air, and avoid foggy, dusty and fiber-rich environments.
(3) Environment: According to the requirements of GB50029-2003 “Compressed Air Station Design Specifications”, the heating temperature of the compressed air station machine room should not be lower than 15℃, and the temperature of the machine room during non-working hours should not be lower than 5℃. When the air compressor suction port or the unit cooling air suction port is located indoors, the indoor ambient temperature should not be greater than 40℃.
(4) Filtering equipment: If the factory environment is poor and dusty, a pre-filtering device must be installed to ensure the service life of the air compressor system parts.
(5) Exhaust volume: When the exhaust volume of a single unit is equal to or greater than 20m3/min and the total installed capacity is equal to or greater than 60 m3/min, a lifting equipment for maintenance should be installed. Its lifting capacity should be determined according to the heaviest component of the air compressor unit.
(6) Maintenance: According to the requirements of GB50029-2003 “Compressed Air Station Design Specifications”, a passage and maintenance space should be reserved.
